Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras is inspired by the renowned New Orleans celebration and is one of the first Busch Gardens Tampa events on the calendar. 

This event includes Cajun-based delicacies, parades with vibrant characters and masks, brass bands, and multicolored collectible beads.

No additional entrance fee is required to participate in the amusement park event.

Real Music Series

The Real Music Series is Busch Gardens’ longest-running concert event, held in The Stanleyville Theater, located in the park’s namesake region.

This series features new and fresh acts, each paying homage to popular songs and bands every year.

Entry to these concerts is included with the park admission ticket.  

Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends

This event is where kids have a blast, and parents can join in without getting bored.

Kids can meet their favorite Sesame Street muppet characters, and their furry friends entertain with storytime, interactive dance sessions, and art and craft activities.

The event is included in the park ticket.

Food and Wine Festival

As you would have guessed, this festival is where you can enjoy delicious meals, wines, brews, cocktails, and other beverages, all while enjoying the lovely weather. 

And that is not all; huge names in the music industry perform live at the festival.

Famous bands and performers such as Flo Rida, Kansas, Maddie & Tae, Dustin Lynch, The Fab Four and MacKenzie Porter are a part of the lineup.

You get to enjoy the event and the concerts, all within the price of admission.

Cinco de Mayo

This is one of Busch Gardens Tampa holiday events based on the holiday of the same name.

It is a Mexican-themed celebration, with Mexican food, music, and entertainment style highlighting the event.

Once again, it is included with the ticket to the park.

Viva la Musica

Another one of Busch Gardens music events, this celebration highlights Hispanic culture. 

It takes place in Cinco de Mayo and then on the weekends of the event’s duration.

Hispanic music, food, and culture are the focal points of this event. 

You can enjoy live performances by Hispanic artists, and you can be a part of them by gaining entry into Busch Gardens.

Summer Nights

Summer Nights event marks the arrival of summer and holidays in the United States. 

This is when the park kicks into overdrive with the fun and the rides. 

By far the busiest time of the park, summer nights see many activities for everyone to enjoy.

The special feature is the Summer Nights Fireworks Spectacular, which brightens the night sky and dazzles the audience.

4th of July Celebration

The Independence Day of the United States is celebrated with huge enthusiasm from the days leading up to the occasion to the day itself. 

All usual activities are in full swing, and the celebrations are heightened for this special occasion by fireworks and other patriotic-themed activities.

Bier Fest

Bier Fest is a big hit at Busch Gardens Tampa. It features food and beer recipes from around the world and local varieties. 

It is held on select dates until Labor Day and attracts a considerable crowd.


Perhaps the park’s biggest event, this occasion is often the first thing people mention when talking about Busch Gardens Tampa.

This is one of the biggest Busch Gardens holiday events.

The amusement park is decked out in spooky, Halloween-themed designs and becomes a scary place that would make even the biggest horror enthusiasts uneasy. 

Multiple Halloween-themed activities occur in the park on select dates until Halloween. 

This, as well as the summer and Independence Day events, is the most highly anticipated time at the Busch Gardens Tampa events.

Unlike other events, Howl-O-Scream is a separately ticketed event.


This event runs parallel to the Howl-O-Scream and is more suitable for families. 

They can enjoy Halloween festivities easily while munching on yummy Halloween candy when they go trick-or-treating and participate in costume parades.  

This Halloween event is included in the admission ticket.

Christmas Town

Christmas Town is a great family event part of the Busch Gardens Christmas events in the park during holiday season. 

Everyone gets to be together, away from work and stress, and celebrate the holidays in Christmas Town’s cold yet cozy atmosphere.

Busch Gardens Christmas Town Tampa events include beautiful light shows, holiday-themed treats, festivities and a family photo.

Busch Gardens Tampa Special Events

Busch Gardens Tampa hosts many special events, including group events like picnics, graduation celebrations, dining events, learning programs, and music events, among many others.

The Busch Gardens corporate events are provided with a buffet, a private picnic venue, a microphone, a podium, an on-site coordinator and many other perks when booked privately.
